El Petit Mercat

Dissabte passat vam participar en la 2ona edició de El Petit Mercat Handmade, la fira de les coses boniques. Per la coletilla del nom ja es veu que és una fira cuidada fins l'últim detall i que el que hi trobaràs serà únic. Va ser una d'aquelles fires que saps que anirà bé. El lloc escollit va ser la terrassa del restaurant La Criolla, però a causa de les pluges vam canviar i ens vam haver de traslladar dins, tot i així hi vam estar molt a gust.

Saturday we paticipated in the 2nd edition of El Petit Mercat Handmade, la fira de les coses boniques. By the name you know that is a cared fair until the last detail and you can find unique things. It was one of this fairs that you know that's gona be ok. It took place in the terrace of the restaurant La Criolla, but for the rainings we had to go inside.

A més dels 16 dissenyadors, entre ells Fauna y Flora, Numon, Me lo dijo un pajarito, Las Coleccionistas... També hi va haver tallers durant tot el dia, d'encuadernació, ganxet, carvat de segells...
There were 16 dessigners, as Fauna y Flora, Numon, Me lo dijo un pajarito, Las Coleccionistas... And also there were workshops all the day, crochet, bookbinding, carven stamps...

Pel matí també vam poder escoltar en directe les cançons de Mary Lemon, mentre ens preniem un mojito, per cada compra el restaurant oferia un mojito per 1€.
During the morning we could listen the songs by Mary Lemon, while we drunk a mojito, fot each purchase the restaurant ofered a mojito for 1€.

Per la tarda es va fer la presentació oficial del diari Crafty Days. Les sorpreses que tenien preparades van ser el sorteig de kits i llibres i també el concert de Samitier.
At the afternoon it was time for the ofical presentation of Crafty Days. They had some surprises like the draw of kits and books and Samitier's concert.

La próxima fira on participarem serà a La Fàbrica Singular impatin un taller d'amigurumi. Serà el diumenge 2 de juny, per més informació i per fer la inscripció entreu aquí. 

El taller de diumenge

Aquest ha sigut un cap de setmana mogudet, dissabte vam participar a El Petit Mercat, prometo entrada en breu, i diumenge vam tenir taller. Van venir la Vanessa i la seva amiga Cristina, la Roser, la Pilar, la Irene i la Laia. Totes van fer ganxet i l'amigurumi va guayar. I vam canviar de profe, va venir la Bàrbara.

This weekend has been in a hurry, saturday we participated in a fair, El Petit Mercat, and sunday we had the second workshop of the month. It came Vanessa and her friend Cristina, Roser, Pilar, Irene and Laia. All crocheted but definitelly amigurumi won. And we change the teacher, it came Bàrbara.

La Vanessa va canviar el ganxet XL per l'amigurumi i al principi el canvi d'agulla li va costar, cosa normal ja que de veure clarament el que estas fent i on claves l'agulla a inturir-ho...
Vanessa changed the XL crochet for amigurumi, at the begining she didn't like the change, absolutely normal with a XL crochet you know what are you doing and where you put the crochet hook.

Es va decidir per una pera, li va faltar acabar el tronxito peró li va quedar molt mona.
She decided to make a pear, and it was so cute.

La Cristina, que ja havia fet ganxet feia anys, va voler fer un pingüí. La seva filla ha de fer un treball sobre els pingüins i ens va comentar que els hi aniria bé tenir-ne un de ganxet. 

Cristina, who crocheted some years ago, wanted to make a penguin. Her daugther has to do a work about penguins and she told us that have one in amigurumi could be cool.

No el va poder acabar, però només li falten les peces petites, se'l va poder endur amb els ulls cosits.

She couldn't finish it, but she just have to make some little pieces, she could took with the eyes sewed.

La Laia mai havia fet ganxet i per començar es va decidir per un necesser.

Laia had never crocheted and she started crocheting a toilet case.

La Irene i la Pilar també van fer amigurumi. La Irene va voler fer el pingüí per aprendre a canviar de color. No el va poder acabar però ens ha promés foto.
Irene and Pilar crocheted an amigurumi. Irene wanted to make a penguin to learn how to change the color. She didn't finish it but she promise us a photo when it's finished.

La Pilar va voler fer un osset i li vam preparar el patró en gràfic, així ha pogut veure com són per si algun dia se'n troba algun. Va poder acabar tot el cap.
Pilar made a little bear and we prepared a graphic pattern, so she could see how it is, if some day she finds one. She could finish all the head.

I per últim la Roser que va fer una catifa XL. El principi va costar però la va poder acabar.

And the last one Roser who made a XL rug. The begining was hard but finally she could finish it.

I així de bonica li va quedar! Ara li falta pensar on la col·locarà.
And that's the result. Now she has to tink where she put it.

I ara a pensar en les dates pels tallers de juny, segurament a finals de setmana ja ho sabrem :)

Costura

Cada vegada m'agrada més cosir, no sé si ja ho he dit alguna vegada, i dilluns de la setmana passada el vaig aprofitar al màxim. Encara estic fent les samarretes per la botiga però entre samarreta i samarreta vaig poder fer dues peces per mi :p

Every day I love sewing more and monday of last week I make the most. I'm doing the shirts for the shop but between shirt and shirt I could make two pieces for me :p

La primera va ser una altra faldilla circular i de les tres que he fet és la que més m'agrada i la que millor ha quedat. La roba és de cotó però te un efecte texà gastat amb flors de color rosa.

The first one was another circular skirt and it's my favotire one of the three I've done and the best made. It's made with cotton fabric with a jeans effect and has a pink flowers print.

La segona peça són uns pantalons curts, fa un temps en vam fer uns però gairebé tota la feina la va fer la meva àvia, i aquest els he fet tots jo des del patró fins al forro, la cremallera i totes les costures.

Per fer el patró vaig utilitzar uns pantalons que ja tenia. Els volia igual, amb goma a la cintura però no vaig pensar que si no estirava la goma no la podria posar i només quan tenia la roba tallada ho vaig veure, sort que la mida era clavada i li vaig poder posar una cremallera.

The second piece were a shorts, some time ago I made ones but all the work was made by my grandma, and this ones were made by me from the pattern to the lining, the zip and all seams.

For making the pattern I used a shorts that I already have. I wanted them with an elastic in the waist but I dind't think that if I dindn't stretch the elastic I couldn't put in the new ones and just when I had the fabric cutted I saw it, lucky that the waist size was like mine and I could put a zip.

Un cop amb el patró fet vaig tallar la roba, era un retall que em va costar uns 2€, i com tenia forats li vaig fer un forro amb una roba del mateix color.

Once I hade the pattern I cut the fabric, it was a piece that I bought for 2€, as it had little halls I made a lining with a same color fabric.

Hi ha coses que es poden millorar, com sempre, però jo estic contenta amb el resultat :)
There are things that can be improved, but I'm happy with the result :)

Depeapa

Aquest matí ens ha arribat una caixa plena de collarets, il·lustracion, bosses i motxilles de Depeapa. Entre els collarets hi ha la  nova col·lecció Terrestre, hi ha 6 models diferents inspirats en elements naturals, materies primes... Combina peces de fusta natural, jaspe, corall... Per aquesta col·lecció a preparat unes bossestes de cotó amb el nom estampat.

This morning arrived a box full of necklaces, ilustrations, tote bags and backpacks made by Depeapa. Some of the neckaces are from the new collection Terrestre, there are 6 different models inspired by nature, raw materials, stones... She combines wood, jasper, coral... For this collection she prepared a cotton bags wiht the name printed.

DIY: panets

Per l'últim taller vaig preparar uns panets i estaven la mar de bons. La recepta la vaig trobar al blog d'Anita's playing dress up. En realitat es diuen scones i són típics d'Anglaterra, són facilíssim de fer i super ràpids.

For the last workshop I baked some small breads and there were delicious. I found the recipe in Anita's playing dress up blog. The real name is scones and they are tipical from England and the recipe it's very easy and fast.

Si no trobeu buttermilk preparada, fer-la és un moment. Necessiteu la mateixa quantitat de llet, 175gr., i li afegiu una cullerada de suc de llimona o de vinagre, ho deixeu reposar 10 minuts i quan veieu que la llet es talla ja el teniu fet. Jo aquest pas el vaig fer molt ràpid i la llet no estava tallada del tot.

If you don't find prepared buttermilk, you can do it in a moment. You need the same quantity of milk, 175gr. add 1 spoon of lemon juice or vinegar and let stand it about 10 minutes and it's done.

** IMPORTANT, a diferència de les altres receptes on els ingredients havien d'estar a temperatura ambient, aquest han d'estar freds i si podeu posar el bol a la nevera millor**

**IMPORTANT, unlike the other recipes that ingredients need a room temperature, this one need cold ingredientes and if you can put de bowl into the fridge**
